Location
The
Artist Cottage enjoys a mountain rainforest altitude of 3,500 feet,
a temperate climate of sunny days and cool evenings with
breathtaking starlight views on clear nights. The Artist Cottage is near the summit of
Mauna Loa where magic begins and the sky never ends. From
Hilo airport take Hwy. 11 toward Volcano Village. Just past the
25 mile marker you make a left on Nahelenani Street. Go
through the stop sign. The cottage is the third residence on the
left at 11-3956 Nahelenani. Look for the flag poll in front of
a green house with white trim and a red roof. It's an easy drive taking you through
some of the most lush landscapes on the Big Island.
